    I'd like to know how many '65 Ranchero Deluxe model were made with the 289 engine. Any resources out there?

    I'm afraid the only way you are going to find that out is to either order a Marti Report for your vehicle (it will have that information) or find another '65 Owner here that has already ordered the report. Sorry, even the free Ford 999 report won't tell you how many were produced with a specific engine type.
