Love the site, as you will already have gathered. Just one small suggestion, over here in the UK on the message boards you can see who is actually on the site at any given moment, ie, logged in. Is it possible to do this on Ranchero US? More to the point, what do other people think of this..... Are there any privacy issues with this in the US?.
I'm a little skeptical of it. One post may turn into a chatroom. Just my opinion. I may be wrong. I'm willing to chance it if everyone else is. Lets take a democratic vote. Weigh the pros and cons. ________________ LS72 If you can't touch it don't smell it
I am for it. The Lincoln Board I belong to has that option, lets you know who's on,on the main page, and you can also see who is in the forums that you are checking out.
I must admit that one post can almost turn into a "chat" immediately, that may not be a bad thing if someone is struggling with a tech issue, or posting pics for example. It would be interesting to know what the moderators think. On the UK boards you can also see who is browsing any particular topic, I don't think this is really necessary, but it would be nice to see how many people are logged in but not posting.
Dont know if we can show the members who are online. I dont think the UBB supports it. I know V bulletin does.
I ain`t "logged out" since I logged in on day one...welllll maybe twice total...so that`ll tell ya bout me...always on site...I love this place...
FF raisin the dead threads again go to quick links at the top of the page click on the down arrow and at the bottom of the drop down is a link to who is on line!!!!!!!!! easy as that!
