Gaww I hate this but I won't make it this year. I've given up and scheduled a hip replacement for 17 June. I don't figure they will let me drive the Ranchero by the 21st. At least I always liked stainless steel and titanium.

Don't despair too much Clark. Dad got his replaced and he's back driving the clutch cars like normal already. If anything, it brought his reaction time back up to his much younger days.
Coming to after the complete hip replacement operation, The first question outta my mouth was "how long will it be until/ before I can ride my Scooter?"?? He MAY let you ride in the Ranchero, but drive, that soon??? Naah = Prolly not outta the hospital yet... I had to stay a week, but therapy started the day after surgery... Prayin` with you, AC/DC

Dennis, did ya show her the thread about September's Old Drag Racer's Reunion in Fla. ? Don't know iffin' we taking just the Thunderbolt or it and the Comet. Sure would like to see ya'll there.

June 21 is only a short spell away now!!!! I got a friend who allows me access to his "Condo" at the beach, for Thunder Beach each fall & spring... So my costs MAY be greatly reduced for us to attend ODRR this year... (IF the condo is available?) Hopefully Ann hasn`t anything else scheduled ; and she can come too... I`ll be there! I wish I could make it out there to put some faces to the names. Maybe a few years down the road when I don't have so many "necessary" things to work on with the Ranchero.
Come as you are! has been "our dress code" the Ranchero being present is NOT mandatory ... Remember this > We gather and IF I can bring a Ranchero it adds icing to the cake and festivities.. Ranchero USA has been gathering since 2007 Carlisle, PA, All Fords Show with 50 years anniversary of Ranchero being first... It`ll be good to meet new faces, that is the whole purpose; Meet each other T-minus 15 days
What Dennis just said . I know for sure my dutys on show day. Up till noon I'm stuck around back directing the trailer queens on where to park then judging six classes that usually have the most entrys. 71-89 production cars, 53-82 original Corvettes, 83-12 original Corvettes, 64-73 original Mustangs, 62-73 original Camaros,Firebirds,& Novas, then 64-81 Original Chevelles & GTO's. I WILL be ready for a beer an' a steak then pass out early before the temptation of bar hopping takes hold.
We are gluttens for punishment, when it comes to this carshow... I`m really glad that I do NOT hafta be on my feet for two days following this carshow... We will arrive Thursday, as normal is our plan... T-Minus 14 days now, AC/DC How `bout it Billy C??? Will you make it this year?
