    Hi GUYS, WHAT AUTO BOX WILL SWAP INTO A 67 200ci 3 SPEED MANUAL RANCHERO,IF YOU"SE CAN TELL ME I CAN START BIDDIN ON A NICE 67 .BUT YOU KNOW I DON"T LIKE MANUAL BOXES (I"M LAZY AND DON"T LIKE CLUTCHES) :eek: CHEERS PHIL

    Hey Phil, the easiest to swap in would be a c-4 auto and plentiful, you could probably install an AOD(overdrive trans) but finding one that bolts to a 200 six would be difficult.

    Make sure to get the bell housing for the 200 inline six.

    maybe the shaft would be the same depending on length of the trans, possably just a slip-joint change, that I am not sure about.

    WOULD I BE BETTER GOING FOR A 302ci auto,+ get a propshaft = all three at once ie DUMP THE STRAIGHT 6?

    If'n yur gonna do a motor swap too, might just as well do it all at one time, otherwise a 200six should be fine.

    Yes, and quite a few of them. Falcons, Ranchero, Mustangs, Comets, Mavricks, Pintos, all commonly had 200 motors with c-4.

    CHEERS PAUL, I"LL have a go at biddin on 2 then.THERES A 65 "falcon" 302 + aod ....and a 67 200ci manual, the auto is further away tho.
