Anyone have a idea of this bench seat it's not a 66 Ranchero as it dosen't move inwards when moving the back reat forward also it has back rest release forward knobs on it.

    And help is appreciated.

    Please see photos.

My guess is it came out of a newer pickup truck.

I've seen one simlar in a 66 Ranchero.

That ne.was blue, and heres a 67 in black.

These are the only two I've seen so far.

But I'm paying close attention to were the seat release knobs are. The blue seat looks higher up compared to the black one

Maybe a 68, not a 67. No latches on my 67, and they tip toward the middle when moving forward.

That seat will fit in a 70-71 also, you will need the long track bolts that go through the floor though.

Can you measure the distance from the bottom of the back rest area to the back rest release knob like in my photo

you can probably replace studs as needed. i think they are square head and fit inside the mounting channel that bolts to the seat bottom.

69 also has the seat release... but appears to be further down.

1971 Ranchero seat, The seats from 68- 71 were interchangeable, the seat release is in different locations.
