    1970 Grabber Blue Ranchero
One of the nicest looking and finest driving Rancheros you will ever come across. Starting with a rust free New Mexico Ranchero with 136k miles, it underwent a four year, nut and bolt restoration. This Grabber Blue Ranchero was BUILT TO BE DRIVEN and it runs great! Since finished in 2008 it has been driven just under 10,000 miles. In June 2010 it was driven 6000 miles, from southern New Mexico to Iowa for Hot Rod magazine’s “PowerTour” down to Mobile, Alabama. From there it went up the east coast to Maine then back to New Mexico.
It ran great the entire trip with no problems turning heads and bringing smiles everywhere it went.
Do not drive this car if you don’t like getting noticed! Even people who know nothing about cars love this one. As you go down the interstate a hundred cars a day will take a picture out the window.
This Ranchero needs nothing! It won’t nickel and dime you and is ready to go anywhere!

*There never has been any rust on this car. It has spent it’s entire life in southern New Mexico. It was primed the same Grabber Blue as the final paint. There is NO body filler. One rear quarter panel was dented badly behind the tire so we cut and replaced the panel. It was a flawless job.
The bumpers and all trim were rechromed and shine like new.
The bed has a very, very thick coating of Rhino lining in matching Grabber Blue. It looks great and perfectly applied.

This Ranchero is very FAST! This is not a kids car. I have had it up to 118 MPH for over a mile. It still had pedal left and drove smooth and solid with no vibrations or wavers. At highway speed it is a sweet, comfortable, secure drive.

    The cons:
One tail light lens has a crack
Light stone chips behind wheels and some scratches that will buff out.
The factory instrument panel isn’t perfect, the dash pad is new.
The speedometer needs to be calibrated due to the larger rear wheels. I use my navigation system for accurate speed now.
You have to hold the gear lever up in Park to start, neutral safety switch connection is not tight.
    Both kick panels have scuffs

    Please note
THIS IS NOT A REAL COBRA RANCHERO
This car has never been drag raced.

    Why am I selling?
It was on my Bucket List to drive across the back roads of America in a cool Ranchero.
    Done.
Next on the list is a newer Mustang and road racing!

I promise you will not be disappointed in this car! Buy it Drive it!
I know this car inside and out, I will always be around for any questions after the sale!
