I believe some have seen the Indian

I sold after owning for 30 years. So here is a pic of my last two wheeler that I keep around for the days I'm up to riding. The following link has pictures of a friends bike that I did all the welding and lathe work on. Go to Georges bike in the index

Looks like new!!!! very nice, I love when rides like that is taken care of.
I am trying to get my first "big" bike back, its a RD350 yamaha from 72 but the guy that owns it now will not sell, and its the same bike i had in 76 so I have offered him big money for it (4000$) and it has to be restored.

My father has owned it for give or take 20 years. i just got my endorsement this summer and so i got it out from under the tarp, threw some plugs, gas and oil in it and she fired right up. i've had a couple of issues here and there, counter shaft and shift shaft seal broke and leaking oil. carb does not want to idle with out it being choked, it has too be running for a half hour before it gets warmed up.

nonetheless, i am very fortunate for what i have and love riding it and the comment i get on it - especially the knobby on the back :D

Yes its always some small things with the older bikes but I think most of it is easy fix.:D
Take the carb of and open it and clean it, be asured that the nozzels are open blow through them, but be aware of all small springs and seals so they dont disapear. :(
The other seals should be easy they have numbers on them so just take them to the shop and they find simmilar, not even have to go to the mc shop, its standard stuff i think.:)
And its fun when its been in the family for that long.
Be carefull in the bends with that nobby tire

    Nice Bike!!!

I owned a `73 Enduro, it was my FIRST street legal bike...My first and only, NEW bike too...
    I took it everywhere, Literally...
It went through the groves, swamps & woods, dirt roads, highways & interstates...
From Tampa to Daytona, the Everglades to Gainsville, it took me wherever I wanted to go...
Thre only difference I see is, mine was Green...
    Take care of that one...

My newest addition; 1968 Sportster XLCH

Yes, looks nice D. here its late season and no more riding I think, its cold and I've been riding for so many years in the cold that I let the younger ones do that, I have problems with my feet and knees after all that cold winter riding. Just have to look forward to the next season.

Nice one Marksm, but its nothing for a 250 lbs 47 year old. I would have crashed in the first corner, because I sure would have belived to be as good to ride as when I was 20 :D:eek::rolleyes:
