No it is not mine, it is my grandfathers. I would kill to own it though, all original, and one restoration on it last year. He's had it for a really long time, as long as I can remember. It runs perfectly and looks awesome. Bad thing is it's so pretty he barely uses the damn thing.
I'm confused. If you follow the pictures link you end up at Milestone Motorcycle Restoration's website (in British Columbia), and that this very motorcycle was sold recently.
Not actual picture of bike, but exactly the same. Yeah if you notice in the background you wouldn't find those trees in Nebraska. Question though for the bikers here. They call it a knuckle head because of the motor right?
I'll see if I can get one soon, I'm going out to there house this weekend so I'll try to remember to get one or two.
Well until then the story is about as believable as a 12 year old prepped with out filler and painted your chero 5 years ago and then painted the name of a "freinds" used car lot on the tailgate..
It's called a knuckle because the heads look like a knuckle "hand" as the panhead is like a old friing pan and the shovelhead looks like a shovle and the evo is called a blockhead because its on top of eachother and flathead(before knuckle) because its flat. And the green knuckle has the wrong green color thats for sure but nice it is
Rant In the Real Bike world we would call you a squid for plagiarizing. what if that was my bike, or the other 10 ppl that go to this site (J/K admin) Now in my book you just lost all creditability, so lets see grandpa's real bike!! Sean good catch!!
we've had a few bikes in the past, but sold everything over the years.... last one sold was Karine's Sportster
I claim two Sportsters and a Shadow I posted pics of, the others ain`t mine, but You KNOW I`d own them if I had the chance...Although, I ain`t claimed `em neither... I hope this doesn`t discredit my uncreditabilty... I reckon you mean this one???
I wish it were!!! I grabbed that photo from the HondaShadow.net site I visit and posted here fer ALL to see my "Dream Machine"......(Nightmare!)
Yeah, I'd grab that nightmare too Dennis if it was afordable. Think RatRod of the bike world. My scooter is now fully cousins, he made that last payment. An' right off the bat he comences changing stuff so as to personalise it. I didn't mind the longer rear shocks because he had a good point about it rubbing the rear tire when his gal rode with him. I just couldn't convince him to leave the flame paint on it, a few chips here and there just proved it wasn't a paperweight. He done it over in a black metalic with a deep clear coat. Seen it in person today and I guess it's not too bad all black, he's happy so all's well.
Hope this works.http://www.supermotors.net/22758 This is why I have no funds to get to the RoundUp--Waaah!!!!!
