I`ve finally gotten that 1965 XLCH back from the rebuilder, I`ve got it broke in and will use it around the farm and at rallies... Here`s a picture of it (next to the springer Ironhead) at it`s debut rally...Rare photo opourtunity, TWO IronHeads side by side !!! I`ve learned the starting proceedure, but IF I brag on it cranking FIRST Kick, (it`s like a child) it`ll act up when I brag on it, so I won`t do that... It does for the most part fire off FIRST KICK though... I love this Bike!!! It`s been in boxes, buckets and scattered on the floor and shelves fer 20 years... COMPLETE rebuild took three tears, I picked it up - Dec 29, 2010... Enjoy, Dennis
My Main ride.. For the last 11 yrs, this has been my main ride and will probably never be sold/traded/etc.. Bike does almost anything you ask of it, usually with more ability than its old rider Whether it is doing track days, which is where this shot was taken a few years back , or 10 second 1/4 mile runs or 1000 mile days, it just keeps on going...
great bike. I love my zrx1100 too. they are just about the perfect all around bike, and there is nothing out there to replace it.
A lot of cool bikes on here. I am kind of surprised almost all are twins. I like the older bikes as well. I ride a 86 Honda Magna V65. Kind of like how ramair351's bike is. Fast and does all I could ask pretty well. Sorry, I still haven't figured out how to post pictures here http://i.imgur.com/alUJ9.jpg
Saw this last year at a local meet up here in lincoln, not sure what it exactly is I just know its a honda with some sort of a v6 on it.
Ahem ... not a v6. That's an inline-6. Honda did make a mighty v6 bike, the Magna V-65 (and some other V-nn numbers also). Google that type to find info about it.
They also made a prototype V6 50ccm that run 22000 rpm Think about the size of those pistons, I think it had 36hp it was a 4 stroke with 4 valves pr cylinder, thats clockwork mekanics But they could not take the speed record from the Kreidler 50ccm anyway, I think it was way over 200kmh (120 mph) The cbx 1000 Honda inline 6 is a collegtors item here now, Italians made a Benelli Sei (6) 750ccm a very nice looking bike, also collectors item here.
86 Yamaha 200ES big wheels.Picked this beast up from a buddy last week. Been in back of his garage last 20 years,he bought it new.Changed oil, cleaned carb,tune..runs like new!Got to pull chero out of garage and get pic with yamaha in bed before i off it. To old for 2 wheelers, ill stick with my 450EFI kingquad for offroad!
That`l make a good picture LS Chero, be careful on and off the truck with it... I need me a dirt bike too, Dennis
