If you have any of those left over, they are still consumable. I haven't had one in decades either. H, the treats of youth no longer enjoyed... Twinkies, Suzy-Q's, Chocodiles, Cupcakes, Swiss Rolls. When did I get too old to have those things??

Recently saw a story of a guy who was gonna try to survive on just beer for lent (gave up solid foods). Apparently doing fine, lost 33 pounds (which was a good thing in his case). Beerbelly, maybe it's not the beer.

I don't know, but a Suzy-Q does sound delicious right now.

I finished final installation of radiator in my 73 this morning, got radiator hose and fan back on. Got rid of the mountain dew bottle gas feeder. Was excited that I would be able to drive it for the first time since I had her. Started the water fill process and damn, water started flowing out of the exhaust doughnut. I feel to my knees, well I was already down on them to see where the water was coming from. How dejected :(, and to top that off its running out both sides.
Oh well I still have 8 boxes of twinkles. o_O

Anyone think that this engine could have two cracked head gaskets, or should I be prepared for the worst. It does run, pumps water out the exhaust better than my well pump feeds my tub. Never seen water run out of the mufflers like that.
Blew spew all over my sons El Camino! Maybe now I meet California emissions requirements ! :)

Water is great for carbon removal. You either have blown head gaskets or cracked cylinder heads. The only way to pin it down is head removal. I'd also drain the crankcase, see how much water made its way to the crankcase.

You can make new gaskets out of those Twinkies. Amazing what those little golden sponges can do.

I was told when I purchased it that it had overheated on the way home from the mechanic that had just rebuilt it. If it cracked both heads I would think it was more than a little overheating. Wondering if damage is worth repairing. What size motors would fit back in place of the 351C? Have a chance to get a 429 from a 70 Galaxie.

The mechanic perhaps was not aware that the engine requires liquid cooling. Sounds like it heated up enough to equal an orbital re-entry.

Some 73's had 429's in them. It would fit.

I would not deer to ride a motorcycle, especially at my age. T&P to all those injured though. That really sucks.
