So they've been filming a movie outside my office for about a week now. From what I've been told it's a story about a homeless woman (Selma Hayek) and a rich guy (Owen Wilson). I find it ironic, of all the people they could get to play a homeless woman, they choose someone married to a billionaire.
Don't get me started! Hollyweird's hypocrisy and perverted view of life and reality disgusts me pretty much all the time...at least Clint isn't bowing to the god's of Southern CA....
And they actually think people will want to see this tripe. I'm sure homeless people all over will be flocking to see this feel-good story.
Tell me about it. There are some people in the 'Industry' that know how well they have it, and others who haven't a clue. A glaring example - The wife and I were at a party a couple of months ago and the hostess was commenting on the house (it was a rental) and that they had a 30 month lease. She said it was a really good deal because it came partially furnished and was only $30,000 a month. How do you respond to that? I simply stepped outside and shook the turds out of my pant leg. The funny thing is she was a real nice lady - not snooty, not pretentious, not full of herself. She was just commenting on what she thought was a good deal. I guess her reality is as different to my reality as my reality is to some poor kid in the slums of India.
I'm not going to disparage anyone, especially because I would like to have enough money to think that $30k a month for a leased house is a good deal too. But wow.
Salma Hayek can make a movie outside my office anytime about anything. Mel Brooks made a movie about a rich guy and a homeless woman. Life stinks!
I had to look her up....I've heard the name, but no clue who she is...not really my type, but a nice litter of sweater puppies for sure.
Sounds like this movie, made by more rich Hollywood babies. With the exception of FF's posts, the rest sound like this.
