Any chance this fits my '75 GT? There is no part number on my fan shroud. https://www.ebay.com/itm/134756509982?_trkparms=amclksrc=ITM&aid=777008&algo=PERSONAL.TOPIC&ao=1&asc=20230811123856&meid=d43b253bbd8d4b9e84b950428b2d1d6d&pid=101770&rk=1&rkt=1&itm=134756509982&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=4375194&algv=RecentlyViewedItemsV2&brand=Ford&_trksid=p4375194.c101770.m146925&_trkparms=parentrq:c6a1a8fa18b0a8cd7948eddafffdc154|pageci:1e707afc-81d1-11ee-99bf-5a1bd6dadb96|iid:1|vlpname% My fan shroud has split and been patched together several times with fiberglass. It really got butchered when forced into an undersized aluminum radiator. So I'm patching up yet again. I tried to get a Ford replacement years ago but none were available. This ebucks offering would be ok except I think the $90 shipping is ridiculous. Oh I could go with electric fans if I had to, but not yet.
Wow, they're still around !! My brother dealt with them many times for parts for his 78 Continental, quite a few years ago, he spoke highly of them then.
Ask Rear Counter for a quote on the fan shroud but have heard nothing. Luckily I've kept working on mine and have it pretty well patched up.
Noted today that Northern Radiator offers make-your-own aluminum fan shroud kits. https://www.northernradiator.com/HI.../FANS_-_FAN_SHROUDS/ENGINE_DRIVEN_FAN_SHROUDS
years ago, Aquartlow told me and i got, 98 windstar fan setup which includes a shroud, 2 16" fans, 1 pusher 1 puller. fits and looks perfect ! only a little cutting around hose inlets. he also showed me the relays needed. it may be a sticky on this site. get brand new for $125 maybe he will chime in
I had a '95 setup, but I sold it to a Fullsizebronco forum member. Now I can't even find any Windbags at all at the junkyards.
Both fans installed into a factory/aftermarket '95-'98 Windstar dual electric fan radiator cooling fan assembly are "puller" style of fans, I'd probably never recommend a pusher style of fan, too many things working against this design of fan to get optimal cooling.
I used a Crown Vic fan and shroud on my '70, but end up cutting the shroud down until it fit inside the original shroud. Moves a lot of air and motors and fans/blades are available.
The 72-76 Thunderbird with 429/460 will have a bolt in fan shroud for the rancher with a 460. The Lincoln mark from the same year's will work as well.
