Anyone have any idea of what the 77-79s brake booster part number is? Mines leaking and haven’t had any luck finding one that “fits” on any part store website. Thanks
It's D5OZ-2005-B I don't think it's going to be easy to find one. Best bet is to send yours to a booster rebuild service.
OEM: D5OZ-2005-B Aftermarket: O'Reilly 54-73002; Wagner 503002, Quality-Built B1206 O'Reilly website says fits T-Bird but not Ranchero, actually fits both. Rarely in stock anywhere. Make certain the booster is the problem before pulling to send out or replace.
I’m 90% it’s the booster since I get no extra vacuum pumps right after motor shutoff when you’re supposed to have about 2-3. There’s also hissing coming from the booster. Will take a look at those part numbers thanks
Time to install a hydroboost system. Not that difficult, no more expensive than a booster rebuild, and far far better brakes!
